Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency Program
About the OB/GYN Residency Program
The Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency Program at CommuniCare, in partnership with Methodist Healthcare System, represents an exciting investment in the future of women’s health in our community. Launching its inaugural class in July 2026, this program is designed to provide comprehensive, hands-on training that prepares residents to deliver high-quality, compassionate care across all stages of a patient’s life.
As a key clinical partner, CommuniCare will serve as the home of the program’s continuity clinic at our Northwest Clinic location, where residents will build lasting relationships with patients while gaining essential experience in outpatient care. Residents will also participate in specialty rotations and receive hospital-based training, with the majority of their clinic experience taking place within CommuniCare. Our experienced OB/GYN providers play a vital role as Core and Teaching Faculty, offering mentorship and guidance that supports both clinical excellence and a deep understanding of community-centered care.
This program is thoughtfully designed not only to train the next generation of OB/GYN physicians, but also to inspire them to remain and serve in the communities where they train. Through this partnership, CommuniCare is helping expand access to quality women’s health services while strengthening the local healthcare workforce for years to come.
