School Based Health Clinics

School Based Health Clinics

School Based Health Clinics (SBHCs) are doctor's offices in the schools, providing primary health care services where the students are and when they need it. With parents' permission, the health clinics provide primary health care services such as physicals, immunizations, wellness visits, chronic disease management, hearing and vision screenings, dental examination and behavioral health screenings and therapy. SBHCs help students and their families manage significant health concerns, like asthma and obesity before they lead to bigger problems. Not all services are offered at all locations, please make sure you confirm that the service you are seeking is available at the school campus nearest you.

All students are eligible to receive health care services at our SBHCs, the only requirement is parental consent. The SBHCs work cooperatively with the school districts collaborating on issues affecting children in and out of the classroom in an effort to ensure their personal and academic successes. Our goal is to keep children healthy and in school.
